When the pressure of my responsibilities fall upon me

And I feel the heaviness of each breath dragging me down

He takes away my burdens with a forehead kiss

With a hand behind my head and a kiss on my brow

I am reminded of His great love for me.

All of the despair runs off of me like water

I feel safe once more in the presence of my Father

When the sadness of life overwhelms me

When the past, full of rebellion, reminds me of what I have lost

He takes me in His arms and holds me

He reminds me of who I am

Chosen, forgiven, not forsaken

With a hand behind my head and a kiss on my brow

I am reminded of His great love for me

I am safe here, I am loved here

Nothing can take me away from here.
